Nutritional value

The nutritional profile of dried fruits, in general, and of almonds and hazelnuts, in particular, is ideal for a Mediterranean Diet that contributes to the prevention of some diseases as, for example, cardiovascular.

The profile and composition of the hazelnut fat has shown a 10% reduction of total cholesterol, increasing the HDL and reducing the LDL. Also, eaten with its skin, almonds and hazelnuts are rich in fibers, mostly antioxidants, and have a high protein content.
